About Northern Sydney Central Service Office

Serving AA Groups
Set up to support local groups in carrying AA’s message of hope and recovery and staffed entirely by volunteer AA members, the Northern Sydney Central Service Office (NSCSO) is located in St Ives and serves the northern and north western region of Sydney (AA’s Area E).
The volunteers at NSCSO operate a 24/7 helpline, visit local rehabs, distribute literature, liaise with frontline services such as police, courts and rehabs and man a drop-in centre and office at St Ives. Getting newcomers to their first meeting is a primary focus.
NSCSO is financed solely by donations received from groups in the area. In turn, NSCSO provides financial support to Area E, helping to fund awareness campaigns, and to the national AA team (GSO).

St Ives Office and Drop in centre
If you need to talk to another AA member you can call in to the St Ives office and drop in centre. You can also browse a full range of AA literature and other material that AA members have found useful in their journey of recovery. Stock up on books, pamphlets or perhaps some anniversary medallions for your group.
The office and drop in centre is located on the ground floor of the Community centre at the intersection of Rosedale Rd and Porters lane, St Ives. It is normally open 9-5 Monday to Friday although it is best to call ahead (9488-9820) before coming in. Sometimes we have insufficient volunteers to staff the office.
